Of Gibsonia, formerly of West Mifflin, on April 14, 2026, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long fought battle with Parkinson's. Beloved wife of Joseph A. Colizza; cherished mother of Elizabeth (Jonathan, Sr.) Passerrello and Lauren (Ryan) Colizza-Young; adored grandmother of Marin and J.J Passerrello. Daughter of the late Eugene and Frances (Topley) Tutko; special niece of the late Dorothy Toth.
Diane earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Carlow College and her Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She devoted her entire career to pediatric nursing, beginning at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. In addition to her clinical work, she shared her knowledge as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at both the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University.
Diane was known for her kindness to all and her deep devotion to her family. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Family and friends received on Thursday, April 23, from 4-8 P.M., at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, 412-461-6394. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, April 24, at 11:30, at St. Therese RC Church. Burial will follow.
