DIANE L.

Age 79, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully, on May 27, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1946 to Ralph and Evelyn Maiette and raised in Mount Washington.

Diane was the loving wife of 57 years to Dennis M. Kuzel; a loving mother to Lea A. Myers; the special gram of Kendallyn Diane Myers and Blake Steven Myers; sister, Debra Maiette; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph J. and Evelyn I. Maiette; and her brothers, Robert, Regis, Ralph and Ronald Maiette; and her precious dog, Scooter.

Diane had a love of baking and could always be found baking in her kitchen, sharing good times with her family and friends. One of her favorite treats to make was her delicious Lady Locks. Her homemade icing was legendary, inspiring others to try and make it just like she would. Diane even spent months preparing and baking the cookies for her daughter's wedding, sharing in the joy and celebration with her labor of love. She cherished the memories and love shared with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Diane's impact was immense and her absence will be felt deeply. However, the love and light she brought into the world will persist with those who had the chance to know and love her.

Friends and family will be received from 7-9 p.m., on Friday, May 30, 2025, and from 12-2 p.m., on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.

A Blessing Service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, in the funeral home chapel, following Visitation.

Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
