DOLORES RITA (HOFFMANN)

With heartfelt love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, Dolores R. Hoffmann Berner. She was a gentle, kind, and loving soul, whose warmth touched every life she encountered.

She devoted her life to her family, offering unwavering support, quiet strength, and boundless affection. Her compassion was evident in every word she spoke and every act of care she gave. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and understanding, gifts that will remain with us forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Berner; her brother, Wayne Hoffmann; and her sister, Judy Vassello.

She is survived by her cherished sons, Rick and Ron; her devoted daughter-in-law, Ulli; and her treasured grandsons, Zeke and Hank, whom she adored with all her heart. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and many loved ones who will forever remember her generosity, wisdom, and tender spirit

Her legacy of kindness and love lives on in each of us, carried forward in the memories we hold close and the values she instilled. Though we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing she rests in peace and that her light continues to shine through those she loved.

Relatives and friends received Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 4-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township), PA 15108. Funeral prayer on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 9 AM, at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial, at 10 AM, in Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 199 McGovern Blvd., Crescent, PA 15046.
