DONALD E.
Age 83, of Gibsonia, PA, died on April 5, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 16, 1941, he was the son of the late David J. Toomey and Emma Mae Keller Toomey. Beloved husband for 64 years of Rita Martin Toomey. Loving father of Donald E. Toomey Jr. (late Joy), Debbie MacArthur (Neil), and Diane Vazquez (Steve). Brother of Dana Foerst (David) and the late David J. Toomey. Proud grandfather of Renee O'Brien (Mike), Donald Toomey (Kayla Whitlatch), Ashley Kovac (Justin), Lindsay Musico (Zach), Chelsea Scherer (Nate), and Steven Vazquez. Great-Grandfather of Zelda, Donovan, Ellie, Sydney, Emma, Sophia, and Enzo.
Don was a long time truck driver, retiring from APA Transport. He was a wonderful husband for 64 years, and a beloved father and grandfather who loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Friends received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS SERVICE, LTD., Bakerstown. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Friday 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Gary Molitar, celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery. Please leave condolences at:
