DONNA JEAN (GIBSON)

Longtime resident of Chalfant, age 71, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Born the daughter of the late Donald Gibson and the late Olga (Toluka) Gibson.

Beloved wife of James S. Perry, Sr., for 48 years.

Loving mother of James S. (Jennifer) Perry, Jr., of Lower Burrell; Christina (Troy) Myers of Orlando, FL; Michael (April) Perry of Naples, FL; and Evan (Alexandra) Perry of Hampton Twp.

Cherished "Bubsie" of Jadyn (Mason) Kresley, Jordan Perry, Jillian Perry, Connor (Skyler) Perry, Mackenzie Perry, Dylan Perry, Olivia Perry, Perry (Grace) Myers, Corbin (Tyler) Williams, Ella Perry, Kamden Perry, and Harper Perry.

Adored great-grandmother of Juniper Myers.

Preceded in death by her sister, Sandra (the late Robert) Leasure.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Donna was a member of the last graduating class of Munhall High School (1971). Donna dedicated most of her working life to improving the communities that surrounded her. She served as borough manager for Chalfant Borough for over 10 years and then Churchill Borough for over 16 years before eventually retiring. Donna was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and University of Pittsburgh Panthers. She was a skilled cook and baker, who found joy in the Christmas season by baking Christmas cookies for her family.

She was an active member of the Churchill-Wilkins Rotary Club and the Wilkins Township Elks Lodge. Donna enjoyed traveling to visit family in Florida alongside her soulmate, Jim.

Most of all, Donna treasured her role of being an outstanding mom to her children and received the greatest reward in life by spending countless moments with all of her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 2-4 & 5-7 p.m. at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 1111 MONROEVILLE AVE., TURTLE CREEK / MONROEVILLE CHAPEL, Turtle Creek, PA 15145, (412) 823-9350, where a Panachida will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory Russian Orthodox Church (Homestead).

Donna will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
