DORIS A. (BITTNER)
Age 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in Southside and Carrick. Beloved wife of the late Raymond N. Niggel; mother of Jacqueline (the late James) Wyckoff, Terri (David) Grimm, and Janice M. (John) Blosl; grandmother of Melissa (Brian) Few, Clinton (Sarah) Wyckoff, Tammy Grimm, John (Deidre) Blosl, and Jesse (Kristi) Blosl; great-grandmother of Connor, Colie, Wyatt, Anderson, McKenna, Jayden, Kye, Hadley, Kensie, Aria, and Jesse, Jr.; daughter of the late Francis X. and Theresa (Stoehr) Bittner; sister of the late Shirley (Carl) Smith. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Doris enjoyed a good time in life and on vacations with family. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren ... her pride and joy. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral prayer is Monday at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, at 10:00 a.m. Doris' family suggests, donations to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
