DOROTHY L. (ESTERBERG)

Dorothy L. (Esterberg) Sinclair, 92, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, July 25, 2026. She was born August 28, 1933, in Bellevue, a daughter of the late Alvin Blair and Dorothy (Williams) Esterberg. Dorothy was a retired switchboard receptionist at the former Monsour Hospital for 13 years and served as president of the union. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Irwin Ch. 400 and a member and past Grand Chief of the Daughters of Scotia. She also enjoyed singing with the former Sweet Adelines and once proudly sang at Carnegie Hall. She loved golfing at Irwin Country Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J. Norman Sinclair, a daughter Margaret "Meg" Lee Whitehead, and a sister Lois Jean Schroth. She is survived by her children James N. "Bud" Sinclair (Darcie), Jean Blasco (Michael), and Janet Sinclair; her grandchildren Audra Mahnke (David), Maxwell Sinclair (Max), Zachary Sinclair (Lauren), Jeannie Curry (Randy), Michael Blasco (Danielle), R.J. "Maverick" Garcia, and Nick Sinclair (Haden); seven great grandchildren; nephew and niece Steven Schroth and Mary Louise Schroth; and a cousin Bernard Esterberg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 31.
