Douglas R. Jessen, age 81, born in NJ, lived most of his life in Irwin, PA, and most recently resided in Wexford, PA. He passed into eternal life surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was the son of the late Raymond and Doris Jessen; and the beloved husband of Marjorie (Molcany) Jessen for 61 years.

Loving father of Denise Nenni (Michael), Tammy Andreyko (Keith), and Deborah Kulasa (John); proud grandfather of Bryan Reeves, Leah Andreyko, Logan Andreyko, Weston Kulasa, and Autumn Kulasa; and brother of Virginia Sorrell.

Douglas was a devoted father, grandfather, and a dedicated caregiver to his wife. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served faithfully as an elder at West Hempfield Presbyterian Church. He retired as Vice President of Truck Leasing at Fox & James Inc. in Latrobe, PA.

An avid Pittsburgh sports fan, Douglas loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, and boating at Deep Creek Lake. He especially cherished holiday celebrations and cooking on the grill.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford), where a celebration of Doug's life will follow at 6:00 p.m.
