DR. PRAKASH

Dr. Prakash Mullick was born on March 10, 1941, in Uttar Pradesh, India. From an early age, he demonstrated a deep commitment academics, athletics and personal growth. After attending St. Andrew's College, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree followed by a Ph.D. and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). In 1979, Prakash immigrated to the United States to pursue new opportunities. He was joined by his beloved wife, Shikha, and their daughter, Madhumita. In 1982, they welcomed their son, Ranjeet, and eventually made Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania their home. As a clinical researcher, at the University of Pittsburgh, Prakash conducted important research in the field of plastic surgery and went on to publish several articles in leading scientific and medical journals. Later in his career, Prakash served as a business executive for more than twenty years. Above all else, Prakash will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. Dr. Prakash Mullick was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shikha Mullick and is survived by his son, Ranjeet Mullick (Tania); his daughter, Madhumita Mullick and his beloved granddaughter, Lilly Mullick. Friends and family will be received at BEINHAUER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 2630 West Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216, on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 12PM for a viewing followed by a funeral ceremony.
