DR. VINCENT F. "DOC"

Of Finleyville, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the age of 77. Vincent is the beloved son of the late Dr. Paul and Helen Petraglia of Mt. Washington. Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Brooke Anne Brenner; and niece, Helen Nicole Ratke (Tim Marlowe, Elle and June) of Philadelphia. Also, close family members, Carmen Petraglia, Nancy Berenda, Brittany Brenner (Kenneth Rock) and Ben Brenner. He was preceded in death by his loving brothers, Paul Gene and Robert Petraglia.

During his 51 years of practicing medicine, he was a respected member of the medical community. As a brilliant physician and diagnostician "Doc" always treated and thought of his patients as family. He will be remembered and missed for his gentle kindness, unwavering integrity and love. His remarkable sense of humor and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.

While his primary passion was taking care of others, his love for his horses and the outdoors were second to none. Farms, team roping and hunting were no stranger to "Doc." He was the master of any craft he put his mind to.

"Doc" will be truly missed by many friends, family, staff and colleagues. Fond memories of the professional work ethic Vince had, as well as his ability to share the fun his life radiated to everyone he met. Friends will be received at the DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to noon. A prayer will be at 12:15 p.m. and a Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, from 1-3 p.m., at the Jugo-Slav Club, 5225 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Bethel Park, PA 15102. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Vince's memory to St. Paul of the Cross Monastery, 148 Monastery Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
