DR. YOLANDA AVRAM
A prominent Pittsburgh-area Holocaust survivor passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, one day before her 89th birthday. Yolanda was the loving mother of Allen Martin (Noemi) Willis, Nelson Robert Willis, and the late Carla Yvonne Willis; grandmother of Julia Willis, Ilana Baker, Dalia Baker, and Shira Baker; mother-in-law of Gregg Baker; sister of the late Yannis Avram; daughter of the late Salvator Avram and Karolla Bensousan Avram. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, October 4th, 2023 at noon at The Homewood Cemetery, 1599 S. Dallas Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
