Westwood - Age 92, of Westwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Beloved husband of 69 years to the late Mary Lou (Boettner) Dufner. Loving father of Diane (Thomas) Pruss, Nancy (Raymond) Martin, and Donald (Janet) Dufner; grandfather of Stephen (Sarah), Kristen (Randy), David, Sara (Michael), and Heather (Casey); great-grandfather of Jordyn, Josalynne, Nolan, Kingston, Casen, Micah, Mya, Trenten and Ava. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Gertrude (Scheeser) Dufner and his sister, Regina Schimborski. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was also a 70 year member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 12. Donald loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends received Monday, April 21, 2025, from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton. Funeral Prayer Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Philip Catholic Church, 50 W. Crafton Avenue, Crafton. Interment in Chartier's Cemetery with military honors.
