EDISON RICHARD
Age 83, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Nye.
Beloved father of Scott (Cynthia), Darin, and the late Keith Nye.
Loving grandfather of Joya, Scott, Jr., Sienna, Demaris, Asja, Mikia, and the late Darin, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren.
He is survived by nephew, Peter (Joan) Yerloda; nieces, Brenda Johnson (Kevin), Leesha Daniels, and Angela Nelson; and close first cousin, Steven Banks (Judy).
Edison is also survived by his significant other, Lillian Willis; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
Family and friends are welcome on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., at W.M. SLATER & SONS, INC. (412-381-3345), 301 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington, PA 15211. Burial is private to the family.
