It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished friend, Edna A. (Migliozzi) DiPaolo of Crafton Heights, who peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of 74 years to the late Joseph DiPaolo, Jr. Loving mother of Joseph (Jennie), Richard (Debra), and Louis (Laura) DiPaolo; cherished grandmother of Angela (Timothy) Mantick, Theresa (Salvatore) Folino, Joseph M. (Elisabeth) DiPaolo, Leah (Paul) Avery, Domenic (Pamela) DiPaolo, Louis W. (Elizabeth) DiPaolo, Nico (Jordyn) DiPaolo; great-grandmother of Gianna, Anthony, and Malena Mantick, Matteo, Dante, and Natalia Folino, Joseph G. and Vincent DiPaolo, Eliana and Cameron Avery, Gabriel and Remiel DiPaolo, Juliana and Matteo DiPaolo, and Capri DiPaolo; sister of Earl, Michael, Harry, August, Rose, Lil, Louise, Ruth and Loretta. Edna lived a life of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her greatest joy was bringing everyone together for Sunday dinners, they were more than meals-they were family traditions filled with laughter, stories and love. After saying grace everyone shouted out "BLESS THE COOK". Nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edna celebrated every milestone and made each child feel uniquely loved. She taught the family the importance of faith, hard work, compassion and staying connected. Edna was an avid member of the Christian Mothers of St. Philip Church. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace. Relatives and friends received Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4 - 8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton. Funeral and interment are private.
