EDWARD A. NOCK Obituary

NOCK

EDWARD A.

Edward "Ed" A. Nock, age 90, of Hampton Twp., passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Born September 3, 1935, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late William J. and Elizabeth (Shema) Nock.

Ed was a very proud Army veteran and Milestone Member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66. He ran heavy equipment until he retired at the age of 62. Once retired, he started working at Home Depot, where he gave sound advice to many customers over the years. In his free time, he also volunteered at St. Barnabas Nursing Home in the recreation department, where he pushed the residents to their daily activities. He loved St. Barnabas and the community so much that this is where he chose to live out his final months.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Sandy (Scott) Winters; grandson, Russell (Christa) Winters; sisters, Mary Ann Glies and Margie Weinbrenner; brothers, Frank, Charlie, and Paul Nock; special cousin and friend, Bob Shema; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph, Bill, and Tom; and sister, Betty.

Friends and family will be welcomed on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., at KING FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park, PA.

A funeral service will follow immediately at 7 p.m. at the King Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ed's name to the charity of your choice.

He will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA, at a later date.
