Edward August Bittner Jr. passed away, at the age of 70, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. He was the beloved husband of Deborah; and the devoted father of Catherine (David) Capor, Kristin (Andrew) Blankemeyer, Edward, III (Alison) and Ryan. He was the loving Pap of Jacob, Josie, Brooke, Maria, Elise, Connor, Patrick, Nicolas, Zachary and Sadie. He was also the beloved son of Joan and the late Edward, Sr.; and the loving brother of Terry. Edward built a distinguished career as a successful attorney, admired for his dedication, integrity, and skill and will be missed as a colleague and friend to many. He will be remembered for his selflessness, humor, intellect and the deep affection he held for his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Funeral Mass on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in Our Lady Hope Parish, St. Valentine Church. Burial will be private to the family.
