EDWARD "EDDIE"

Of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, January 11, after battling Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. Eddie was the son of the late Edward and Althea Malley.

He was the owner of Ed Malley Automotive for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Kathleen Fitzmaurice Malley. He is also survived by four sons: Edward (Kara), Michael, Joshua (Nicole) and Chad (Deana); 12 grandchildren: Jeff (Julia), Angela (Hunter), Scott (Marie), the late Dristin, Jeremy (Jordan), Annabella, Ashton, Mia, Blaze, Tori, Mason and Caden.

Ed was one of 12 children. Surviving siblings are Donald, Tootsie (Richard) Ogden, Kim (Bud) Wallace, Shelly (Bob) Senter. He was preceded in death by MaryJo (Bruno) Ganassin, Marlene (Vince) Corrado, Donna (John) Halbleib, Thomas, Richard, Robert, Pamela Long; and sister-in-law, Susan.

He had many nieces and nephews. Kathy would like to extend her heartfelt thanks to daughter-in-law, Pamela Heckman; nieces, Renee Gaston and Lisa Freeman; sister, Coleen Hofscher; and brother, Tom Fitzmaurice; along with the staff at Renaissance Family Practice and Three Oaks Hospice.

Family and friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday, January 15, at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100). A Blessing service will be at the funeral home, on Friday, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
