Pittsburgh, PA - Age 69, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna M. (Weber) Dashner on February 21, 2007; and his father, William Dashner on December 8, 2021. Edward is survived by his brother, William (Michelle) Dashner; sisters, Arlene (Robert A.) Sporcic and Anna (Kenneth) Lucas; nephews, Andrew Dashner, Adam Dashner, Robert M. Sporcic and Kenneth William (Erin) Lucas; nieces, Maria (Austin) Ridgley and Amelia Lucas; great-nephews, Nico and Noah Ridgley; great-niece, Eleanor Lucas.

Edward worked as a carpenter for many years and spent much of his career with his father's cabinet company. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, was a devoted fan of Pittsburgh sports teams and loved to cook. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family.

Friends received 3-7 p.m., on Wednesday, March 11, at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 12, at 10 a.m., in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish--St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
