SANGREGORIO
EDWARD "POPS"
Age 83, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was born October 26, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Arnold E. Sangregorio and Elizabeth (Undercoffer).
Edward graduated from Carrick High School, Class of 1961. Following graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Edith Louise (Ruffing), and they settled in Pittsburgh. They celebrated 46 years of marriage. Edward was a draftsman and worked at Westinghouse, U.S. Steel, and Belcan/Dupont, among other companies. He finished his career at Sun Chevrolet, earning the "Mark of Excellence" award as a top performer. He loved drawing and designing things. Edward was an active volunteer with his son's activities, including track, football, and Boy Scouts. He had a passion for target shooting and enjoyed loading his own bullets. His greatest pride was in his children and their accomplishments. Edward loved sharing his "pearls of wisdom" with everyone ... wisdom that almost always proved valuable at some time in the future.
In addition to his parents and his brother, Dennis (1953), Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edith (2014). Edward and Edith were reunited in Heaven, fittingly, on Valentine's Day. Edward is survived by two sons, Edward (Kimberly) of Hickory, PA, and Anthony (Becky) of Las Vegas, NV; and four grandchildren, Dominic, Elaina, Angelina, and Marcus, all of Las Vegas.
