Edwin A. Smith, Sr., age 92, of Summer Hill, on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Beloved husband of the late Arlene (Elmeier) Smith; loving father of Edwin (Lorena) Jr, Ernest (Kathleen), Harry, Charlene (Bruce) Helt, Eric (Sheryl), Catherine (Richard) Usner, and the late Mary (infant); also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, siblings Lester Smith and Carol Lightner, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family will welcome friends on Thursday from 4-8pm at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View, PA 15229. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Incarnation of the Lord Parish.

Edwin was a proud Korean War Army Veteran. He loved woodworking, motorcycles, fishing, and cars. He was also the Commander of the American Legion Post 565.
