Age 90, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully, on July, 28, 2026. She was born on August 24, 1935.
Eileen is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Nussbaumer; her loving daughter, Beverly Quinn-Huston (Thomas Huston); and her sister, Judith Holterhoff. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Richard Quinn (Charlene); and first husband, Robert Quinn.
Eileen was the proud grandmother of Matthew, Mark, and Caitlin Quinn, whom she adored. She was also delighted to be the great-grandmother of Harmony, Ella, Sidra, Jonathan, Sophia, Ryan, Sean, Aidan, Dominick, Talula, and Brooklyn. She was stepmother to Randy Nussbaumer, Richard Nussbaumer, and Regan Smith, and her five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her cherished "Y" buddies, her church friends, and many other dear friends who became family throughout her life. Eileen dedicated her career to serving others as a Pittsburgh Police Detective and later as a County District Attorney Investigator.
A devoted Catholic and member of Divine Grace Parish, Eileen faithfully attended daily Mass and was active in the Women's Club. She was an avid reader and loved to sew, especially for her family. She had an adventurous spirit and a lifelong passion for travel, which took her to more than 50 countries around the world. She embraced every opportunity to experience new cultures, meet new people, and create lasting memories through her travels.
Eileen also enjoyed walking endless miles with her numerous friends, sharing stories, laughter, and companionship along the way. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, remarkable strength, adventurous spirit, and deep love for her family and friends. Her shining personality and beautiful legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 2-4, 6-8 p.m., at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Eileen's name to The Divine Grace Women's Club, or The Cranberry Township Library.
