Eileen Mary Fetterhoff, 79, passed away peacefully from natural causes on April 26, 2026, in Wexford, PA. (Beloved wife of the late Chandler G. Fetterhoff). Eileen dedicated her life to educating special needs children, a vocation that brought her immense satisfaction and joy. She held a Bachelor of Arts degree from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA, and was a certified substitute teacher for grades K through 12. Her commitment to her students and their families was unwavering, and she touched the lives of many throughout her career. (Prior to her teaching career, Eileen was a certified radiologic technologist). Beyond her professional life, Eileen's many interests included cooking, fashion, and outdoor activities. She enjoyed educational reading, often sharing her passion for learning with those around her. Eileen was a lover of tabby cats, finding such comfort with the companionship. Social events were a cherished part of her life, where she would connect with friends and family, creating memorable moments that will be held dear by those who knew her.
Eileen is survived by her beloved eldest daughter, Amelia Williams "Amy", and her cherished granddaughter, Kayla, both of whom reside in Pittsburgh. She is also survived by her younger daughter, Kristy Goelzer, living in NC. Eileen's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding them of her kindness, dedication, and vibrant spirit.
Family and friends are welcomed to attend a Funeral Service in May at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017. Please contact WALTER J.
