EILEEN

Eileen Muse, age 90, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026. She lived an incredible 90 years and remained witty, sharp, and intelligent until the very end.

Born on July 30, 1935, Eileen was an award-winning real estate broker for Howard Hanna Real Estate and Keller Williams Realty, taking great pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her career.

Eileen was a faithful member of St. David's Episcopal Church, was active in local Democratic politics, was a member of the Association of University People, and was a longtime member of Valley Brook Country Club, where she and her beloved husband, Jack Muse, shared many happy years together. A proud alumna of Penn State Behrend, Eileen carried tremendous Penn State pride.

She was an avid reader who treasured time spent playing Scrabble, poker, and, in her younger years, tennis and softball. Eileen also had a lifelong love of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Above all, Eileen cherished her family. She especially adored her granddaughter, Chelsea Ondek, and took great pride in the accomplishments and milestones of all those she loved.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Muse; her granddaughter, Chelsea Ondek; her grandson-in-law, Christopher Ondek; her in-laws, Jean, Ken, John, Amy, and Ella Ondek; and her cousins, the Curry and Deeley families of Pittsburgh and Latrobe.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Muse; her mother, Grace Mazzei; her husband, Senator Frank Mazzei; and her father, James Lardo.

Eileen will be remembered for her intelligence, competitive spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the countless lives she touched throughout her 90 years. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

There will be a church service held at St. David's Episcopal Church at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 905 East McMurray Road, Venetia, PA 15367.
