Elaine Poplawski, 75, of Monroeville, passed away August 16, 2026, after a yearlong battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Poplawski; Son, Paul (Sam) Poplawski; Daughter, Dr. Amber (Dan) Elway; Grandchildren, Nathan and Sydney Elway, Lily Poplawski; Brothers, Frank and Kevin Torres. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Lucas Torres.
Elaine loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren who lovingly called her "Mugga". She also enjoyed the company of her dog Puff who brought her comfort and joy. In accordance with Elaine's wishes, she will be cremated.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 3 to 8 p.m., at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike, (412-372-2100). Condolences may be made at:
