ELEANOR L. "NAN" (LECKFOR)

Of Avalon, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Born November 13, 1928, in New Castle, PA. Daughter of the late Michael and Stella Leckfor. Beloved wife of the late Alphonse A. Siglow. Loving mother of Kathryn Kress (Bill), Sharon Shoemaker (Ed), Richard Siglow (Elaine), and Carley Siglow (Elizabeth Opperman). Beloved sister of Edward Leckfor. Preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Proud grandmother of Chris Shoemaker, Lauren Shoemaker, PhD (Kyle Churman), Leah Madru (Greg), Matthew Siglow, and Rebecca Siglow. Great-grandmother of Rowan and Lucas Madru. Also many loving nieces and nephews.

Nan was an avid admirer of every baby she saw, and they loved her in return. She joined her beloved Al for their 74th wedding anniversary on June 9. The family would like to thank the staff at New Hope Gracious Personal Care for their kind and compassionate care of Nan.

Friends received Thursday, June 12, 2025, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Regina Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption. Interment will follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
