ELEANOR MARIE
Eleanor Marie Super, age 93, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles John Super, with whom she shared nearly 50 years of marriage.
Eleanor is survived by her three loving children, Leslie Salinetro, Lynn Super (Brian), and David Super (Elaine); her brothers, Walter Knoebel and Ronald Knoebel (Patricia); and four cherished grandchildren, Jason, Hannah, Brady, and Mira.
She had a love for gardening, animals, especially her granddogs, ballroom dancing, and cooking for family and friends. Eleanor was a strong woman, devoted to her Catholic faith and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eleanor Knoebel; and her brother, John Knoebel.
Friends will be received at H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15237, on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 800 Avila Ct., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
