ELINOR L. (FISHER)

Elinor L. (Fisher) Moody, 96, of Washington Township, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, in QLS - Apollo.

Born February 1, 1929, in Rochester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Forrest Earl and Rachel Frances (McConahey) Fisher. She attended Slippery Rock University and the University of Pittsburgh.

Elinor was employed as a lab technician by the Pittsburgh VA Hospital in Oakland for many years until her retirement in 1989.

She was a member of New Beginnings Methodist Church, Lydia's Circle, and a local quilters club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John Moody; daughter, Susan Laverne (Moody) Rovenski; and her son, Jeffrey Moody.

Elinor is survived by her grandson, James (Ashley) Rovenski of Kentucky.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Julie Kolacz officiating. Private burial in Beaver Cemetery, Pennsylvania.
