ELMER E. "BUTCH"
Elmer E. "Butch" Coss, 85, of Bellevue, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Elmer was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent much of his career as a foreman at A.W. Cadman Manufacturing Company and later retired from McConway & Torley. He took great pride in his work and was respected by those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Patricia (Lichauer) Coss, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories.
Elmer was a proud father to Melissa Coss (Dale Regrut), Jennifer (Mark) Medford, and R.J. (Angel) Coss. He was also a loving Pappy to Katie (Matt) Lambert, Megan Grandstaff, Louie Dobish, and Lil' R.J. Coss, who brought him great pride and joy. He is also survived by his dedicated brother-in-law, Raymond Lichauer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer E. Coss Sr. and Gladys M. (Rosenberger) Coss, as well as his five sisters.
Elmer will be remembered for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and the steady presence he provided to those who knew and loved him. He was the life of the party and will be remembered for his warm spirit and sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, vacationing with his family, trips to the Rivers Casino and a cold Iron City beer.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at LAWERENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Ave, Bellevue on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where a service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Final resting place will be at Mount Royal Cemetery.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
