EVELYN H.

Evelyn H. Hoffman, 93, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, in Kane Nursing Home. She was born in Dupont, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Zawacki. She worked numerous jobs throughout her life, starting with an orphanage in Scranton as a baby nurse, next she worked at her family's donut shop, Hoffman's Donuts and then Hills Department Store. She was an award-winning baker and loved crafting. She would often craft with her friends and make things to sell for her church's bazaar. When she was well she was an active member at Prince of Peace Anglican Church in Hopewell Twp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Hoffman in 2008 and four siblings: Frank Zawacki, Wanda (Leonard) Skrobiszewski, Matilda (Michael) Augustin, and Walter (Jane) Zawacki.

Evelyn is survived by her two children: Paul (Angel) Hoffman; and Rebecca (Jeff) Noyes; five grandchildren: Sara Hoffman, Rachael Hoffman, Kara (Jake) Sault, Charlie Noyes, and Alex (Bekah) Noyes: and three great grandchildren: Maxwell, Calvin and Julianna.

Friends will be received on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at Noon in HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES OF ALIQUIPPA, 2345 Mill St.

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
