FR. MIROSLAW

Fr. Miroslaw Wojcicki died peacefully, on March 27, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones from Little Sister of the Poor. Preceded in death by his seven siblings in Poland; and his sister, Beverly Leszczynski. He is survived by his niece, Edyta Hull (Chuck); nephew, Tom Leszczynski (Sara); and many nieces and nephews in Poland. Fr. Miro was a man that impacted so many during his 63 years of Priesthood. He loved to share his stories of being a young boy in Poland, his adventures of coming to America and his assignments as a priest throughout Pittsburgh down to Texas. He was an avid Penguins fan and loved to play his favorite card game, 1,000, with his friends. As Fr. would say, Amen, which means let it be done. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. and at Queen of the Rosary Church, Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, 530 Michigan Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at Queen of the Rosary Church, Saints Joachim and Anne Parish on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Bishop Mark A. Eckman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Queen of the Rosary Church, Saints Joachim and Anne Parish.
