Frances Mary Peake, 60, of Miami Shores, FL, passed away on August 1, 2021, at her home. She was born to Stephen and Elvira Peake on April 5, 1961, in Pittsburgh, PA. Frances graduated in 1979 from Pittsburgh Allderdice High School and in 1983 from Tufts University with a BA in History. Frances had a clarity of mind that led her to be a software developer and start her own business, Proctor & Peake, in the early 90s. With her beautiful smile, kind heart and sense of fairness, she attracted and kept many lifelong friends. Francie loved baking cookies, working on social justice issues and sailing. She is survived by her wife, Janine "Gigi" Laudisio; her sister, Susan Peake (Daryl Cross); her nephew, Christopher Cardozo, and the Proctor family; a close knit group of Peake cousins; and her two dachshunds, Paco and Bella.
