Francis Stepnick passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at Harmony Hills Healthcare Facility, in Wexford, PA.
Francis, born on July 4, 1925, is predeceased by his wife, Helen (Kornic) Stepnick; and survived by his four children, Becky (John) Chestnut, David (Rose), James (Debbie), and Angie (Chuck) Dietrick. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ron (Sandy), Heather (Dan), Kristin (Andrew), Matt (Renee), Elyse (Bryan), Michael, Paul, Jake, Jacob, Owen, Ariana, and Evelyn. He was also predeceased by his loving companion, Wanda Carver, of Allison Park.
Francis was a World War Il veteran who was deployed in the European theater. He was captured on December 19, 1944, in the Battle of the Bulge and was liberated from a German prison camp in April of 1945.
Francis was an exceptionally proud, loving, and dedicated family man. He loved and was loved unconditionally. There was nothing he would not do for his family.
Francis and his family were thrilled to be able to celebrate his 100th birthday on July 4, 2025.
Private Viewing. Mass of Christian Burial on October 29, 2025, at 10 AM, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, St. Ursula Church, 3945 Kirk Ave., Allison Park, PA 15101.
