LOMBARDI

FRANK A.

Age 71, of Plum, passed away peacefully, on November 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 21, 1953, he was the son of the late Arthur and Frances (Foster) Lombardi. Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his family. He shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Vicki (Flinko) Lombardi; and was the proud father of Nicole (David) Karpinski and Gina (Richard, III) Dankmyer. His grandchildren, Madelyn, Rylee, Jonathan and Kendall — were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Frank retired in 2019, after a long and dedicated career as a millwright machinist and maintenance mechanic at Curtiss-Wright. A proud member of the Renton Italian Club and Vandergrift Golf Club, Frank found joy in good company, laughter, and friendly competition. His love of sports began in high school, where he played basketball and baseball, and it continued throughout his life. He especially enjoyed playing softball, bocce, golf and a good game of horseshoes. Frank also loved the beach — especially his favorite destination, Myrtle Beach, where he found peace and happiness soaking up the sun and ocean breeze. He had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Dean and Ralph Lombardi; and his father-in-law, Victor Flinko. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki; his daughters, Nicole (David) Karpinski and Gina (Richard, III) Dankmyer; his treasured grandchildren, Madelyn, Rylee, Jonathan and Kendall; his brother, Neal Lombardi; his sister, Beth (Lombardi) Maggio; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply. Frank's kindness, humor, and love for life will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him. His legacy lives on in the laughter of his family, the warmth of his friendships, and the countless memories shared along the way. Family and friends will be received at MAURICE L. KNEE LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Road, Plum, PA 15239, on Thursday, November 13, from 2-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home, on Friday, November 14, at 11:30 a.m., with Interment to follow at Plum Creek Cemetery in Plum.
