GEORGE E.
George E. Potonia, age 78, of Shaler Twp., passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Beloved husband of 42 years to Debby (Thiel); loving father of Jennifer (Nicholas) Bradford and Nicholas (Carly) Potonia; proud Pap of Max Bradford; dear brother of Arlene (Tom) Kirschbaum and Shirley Robson; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; son of the late George and Mary E. (Terbosic) Potonia. George was a Combat Vietnam Veteran who proudly served his country in the US Marines from 1966-1968. Friends will be received on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw, on Saturday, at 10:00 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Good Samaritan Hospice or Burn Pits 360.
