GEORGE M. WILMER Obituary

WILMER

GEORGE M.

Of Nottingham Township, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on November 16, 1942, to the late George W. Wilmer, Jr. and Ruth R. Wilmer. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia A. Johnston.

George was the first in his family to graduate from college, earning his degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He went on to build a distinguished career in technology as a senior computer database analyst, contributing his expertise to respected companies, including U.S. Steel, H.J. Heinz and IBM. Outside of work, he was a devoted husband and father, who instilled curiosity and patience in his children, and whose kindness extended to the many pets that brought joy to their home.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Paulette L. Oskin Wilmer; his children, Angela M. (Sean) Biggart, Brian L. (Irais) Wilmer and Rebecca R. Wilmer; and his grandson, Henry L. Wilmer.

In keeping with George's wishes, no services will be held. His inquisitive mind, calm demeanor and gentle humor will be remembered by all who knew him.
