GEORGE N.
Age 97, of Allison Park, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024. Born on October 30, 1926, in Etna, Pennsylvania, George was the son of the late George P. Lutz and Mathilda (Yester) Lutz.
George is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Rosalyn (Brucker) Lutz; and his children, George Lutz (Lois), Paul Gary Lutz (Sherry), Anne Kulin (Ronald), Robert Lutz (Melissa), and James Lutz. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Feineigle (the late William), as well as many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his first wife, Adeline (Murphy) Lutz; his daughter, Angela Lutz; granddaughters, Abby Lutz and Kayla Lutz; brothers, Rev. Gerald Lutz, Gilbert Lutz (Janet), and Gregory Lutz (the late Romaine); and sister, Sister Ida Mary Lutz, CDP.
An attendee of North Catholic High School and Duquesne University, George proudly served his country as a Navy veteran during World War II. After his military service, he worked for many years as a technical representative and manager of the Pittsburgh office for Morgan Construction Co.
George enjoyed a good book, and was an avid sportsman who loved golfing, hunting, and cheering for Pittsburgh's sports teams. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his wife "Rozzie", family, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be private. Please meet at church.
