GEORGIA ANN (BROZ)
Passed peacefully following a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Mark Rosen and their children, Zachary (Jacqueline McWilliams) Rosen and Rachel (Nicholas Robison) Rosen, as well as her brother, Stephen (Anna Margaret) Broz, nephew Geoffrey Broz, brother-in-law Steve (Judi) Rosen and nephews, Max and Avi Rosen, and her many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Florence Broz.
Georgia was the Valedictorian of her high school class and a graduate of Chatham College and University of Pittsburgh Law School. She excelled as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting difficult violent crimes and then worked briefly in general law in a private practice before focusing on raising her children and caring for her parents. Georgia will always be loved and remembered.
Her family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Friday, May 9, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220. Burial and post funeral reception will be limited to immediate family only.
Donations may be made in Georgia's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
