GEORGIANNA "GIGI"
Age 86, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Donald and Mary Euler; beloved wife of John C. Hall; loving mother of Patricia (John) Brenchak, Kathleen (Ron) Lerario, JoAnn (Tom) Hall, Jim (Jackie) Hall, Sharon (Phil) Bartchak, Carolyn (Keith) Young, Maureen (Dave) Kyle and Megan (Pete) Geddes; dearest GiGi of 17 cherished grandchildren and 18 and half great-grandchildren who adored her beyond measure.
Born on May 17, 1939, GiGi grew up in Homewood, alongside her beloved sister, Barbara (Medve). Their bond was a source of strength and lifelong friendship. After losing their parents at a young age, they were lovingly raised by their grandparents, who instilled in them resilience and grace.
GiGi attended Sacred Heart High School, where fate brought her to the love of her life, John Hall, at a Central Catholic dance. They married on September 13, 1958, and settled in Dormont, where they built a home filled with faith, kindness, and joy. Together, they raised eight wonderful children. Through 67 beautiful years of marriage, GiGi lived a life overflowing with love, laughter, and compassion — a legacy that will live on through generations.
GiGi dedicated her career to the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, where she worked with children with cognitive disabilities. Her compassion, patience, and joyful spirit touched countless lives.
She also served as a respected leader, holding the role of Union President for AIU #3 Federation Local 4394 for 11 years, advocating tirelessly for her colleagues.
Outside of her work and service, GiGi's passions reflected her vibrant spirit. She loved crossword puzzles, reading, and trips to the beach—but nothing brought her more joy than time spent with family and friends. Her porch was always open, a warm and welcoming space filled with laughter, stories, and love.
GiGi will be remembered for her creative storytelling, sharp wit, and unwavering grace. Those who knew her best described her in three words: Grace, Class, and Beauty. Her family and friends will carry her stories, her love and her lessons forever. GiGi's legacy will continue to shine through every smile, every shared tale, and every gathering on a welcoming porch.
Family and friends will be welcomed on Sunday, from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m., at LAUGHLIN CREMATION AND FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian
