GERMAINE L. "GERRI"

Of Allison Park, PA, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at AHN Wexford Hospital.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on January 24, 1958, daughter of the late George H. Werl and the late Lois M. Feiling Werl. Beloved wife of 33 years to Glynn A. Newcamp. Loving mother of Nathalie Newcamp and foster mother to Miranda Schellman. Dear sister of George H. Werl, Jr. (Melanie). Cherished grandmother of Primrose Violet Newcamp and foster grandmother to Sofie Grace Sabotka. Dear aunt of Sean, Lawrence, and Sabrina Newcamp, and Matthew, Daniel, and the late Jeremy Werl. Great-aunt of Conner Werl.

Friends received Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, PA. Services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3832 Gibsonia Road, Gibsonia, PA, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11 a.m., Pastor Brian Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in East Union Cemetery, Cheswick, PA.

Gerri was a graduate of Baldwin High School and Duquesne University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in music education and a master's degree in education. She was an accomplished vocalist and pianist, performing with several groups across the Pittsburgh region. Gerri taught for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit across several school districts, mostly with Sunrise School in Monroeville.
