Age 93, of North Side, passed on Monday, May 26, 2025. Beloved wife for many years of the late Tony Gaertner.
Dear mother of Sharon Gaertner, Thomas (Linda) Gaertner, Casey Morrison, Patrick (Becky) Gaertner, and the late Daniel (surviving Dorothy) Gaertner. Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Steve), Kari, Kelly (Dave), Jeff, Ty, Abby, Katie, Claire, Ryan, and Adam. Great grandmother of Braedan, Olivia, Devin, Riley, Jaxon, Andrew, and Ethan. Also survived by her youngest brother Teddy Zysk.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 2-8 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 388 Center Ave., West View, PA 15229. Mass of Christian Burial to be held in Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Boniface Church on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 10 a.m.
Helen will be fondly remembered as a devoted parishioner and a lifelong member of St. Boniface choir while she had a vanity of interests including gardening, traveling, bowling, bingo, soap operas, and listing to her music, but her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
