Age 92, of Clermont, Florida passed away on September 29, 2025. Ronald "Ron" was born in West Homestead, Pennsylvania, and moved to Florida 40 years ago. His successful career as a Financial Advisor was his passion. Sara, the love of his life, and Ron were married for 67 blissful years and enjoyed many wonderful life experiences together. A Funeral Service will be held on October 4, 2025, at 9:00 A.M., at WOODLAWN MEMORIAL PARK & FUNERAL HOME, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 or Lake County Animal Shelter, 12280 County Road, Tavares, FL 32778.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
