CHARLEBOIS

HOWARD J.

Of Cranberry Township (formerly of Hampton, Hidden Valley and Mt. Pleasant), passed away peacefully, with family at his side, on July 16, 2025.

Howard was born in Youngstown Ohio, the son of Howard and Rose Charlebois; brother of Bill and Jeanne.

He graduated from Ursuline High School and attended Duquesne University, earned his D.D.S from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School and his MS from Marquette University.

He married Julianne Wolf in 1960, and together they shared 55 years and six children.

Howard spent his career teaching future dentists and colleagues; treating patients with integrity and care, he was a pioneer in dental implant medicine. He was involved in many professional organizations, including serving as president of the Carl O. Boucher Prosthodontic Conference.

Howdy taught his children to sled, toboggan, ice skate, sail and how to drive a stick shift. Together, the entire family learned to ski. In later years, he took up camping, fly fishing and golf.

He is survived by his children, Jane and John Cinicola, Christine and John Vollen, Carolyn and Jamie Davis, Hannah Charlebois, Gregory Charlebois, Peter and Cray Charlebois; and daughter-in-law, Lori Charlebois. And also by his grandchildren, Alora (Peter), Jack, Paul, Sara (Andrew), Matthew, Alexander, Christopher, Julia, Andrew, David, Katherine, Henri, Luc, Anastasia, Hunter and Sadie.

Per his wishes, his Burial will be private.
