Age 89, of Lawrenceville, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Sawicka) Stupka; loving sister of Margie (the late Raymond) Hancock, Constance (the late Regis) Michalski, the late Tommy, Raymond (surviving wife Judith), Donnie, Marlene and Kenny (surviving wife JoAnn) Stupka; best friend of Art Nese; also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Irene worked in the fine jewelry department at Sacks Fifth Avenue for over 25 years. She was a choir member at St. Augustine Church for over 25 years and served as a 6th Ward Committee Woman for the Democratic Party. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church at 12:30 p.m.
