J. MICHAEL "MIKE"

J. Michael "Mike" Ewing of Moon Township, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1951, in Beaver, PA to the late Charles W. Ewing and Mary Lousie (Marshall) Ewing. Mike graduated from Grove City College (1973) and received his Juris Doctor from Dickinson School of Law (1976). He held a clerkship with Judge Price of the Superior Court of PA, practiced law as a partner at Kirkpatrick and Lockhart and at Hergenroeder Rega Ewing & Kennedy for the last 25 years. He served as a trustee for the Anne R. Munroe Foundation.

Mike is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan Letteri Ewing, his daughter Jennie Ewing (Damian) Liska, his son Steven (Marly) Ewing and grandchildren Owen and Theresa Liska.

Mike found great joy in the practice of law and even more joy when surrounded by family for a good meal or celebration.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at COPELAND'S, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township. Burial will be private at a later date.
