JACKIE (HYLAND)

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 9, 1932 and died July 8, 2025, surrounded by her family. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie; her son, Edward; and daughters, Lori Joe and Terry Lynn. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Mildred Hyland; and was sister to her late eight siblings. She is survived by her children, Kristie (Trace) McCall, Kathy (Terry) Obringer, Daniel (Beth) Dugan and Cindy (Oscar) Arguellez. Jackie's pride and joy were her grandchildren, Trevor Thomas Dugan, Matt (Meghan) Dugan, Kellie Dugan, Connor Obringer and Rylee Obringer. She was "GG" to Lilly, Jake and Rose Dugan and Henry Obringer. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy DeMartino and Shirley Hyland; along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Her greatest passion in life was helping other people, which led to her being one of the founders of the Alalon Etna Chapter in 1978, where she met many friends that were very dear to her heart. Another one of Jackie's greatest privileges in life was to raise her grandson, Trevor Dugan, with her husband, Eddie. Trevor's greatest privilege was to then care for her in her final years of life. With 93 years of life well lived, she always had many words of wisdom, advice (even when you didn't ask for it) and witty (sometimes inappropriate) stories. She will be missed dearly. Friends will be received at BOCK FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1500 Mount Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, on Saturday, July 12, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., with a Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
