JAMES DONALD

Age 93, of Seven Fields, formerly of Lawrenceville and Bloomfield, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Anna M. (Colaizzi) Runco; loving father of Donna (James) Trimbur, Donald (Cindy) Runco, Robert (Nicole) Runco and David (Tara) Runco; cherished grandfather of Gianna, Dante, Roman, Eric, Jason, Donnie, Alysa, Chaz, Jackie and Julianne; devoted great-grandfather to seven and great-great-grandfather to two; son of the late Manuel and Susie (Porco) Runco; brother of the late Dorothy Berkopec, Nancy Hertzig, Rose Iusi, Mary DeLuca, Esther Roetter, William, Harry, Joseph, James, Eugene, Frank, Carmen, Albert and Victor Runco. James was the owner of Friendship Cleaners. He liked to go to The Meadows and watch horse racing. James was a loving family man and loved to reminisce about the good old days. Many heartfelt thanks to the staff at Kane Community Living Center - Glen Hazel for all of their love, care, and support. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9:00-11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Maximilian Kolbe Church at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at http://www.cancer.org.
