Jane C. Risacher, age 84, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026.

Jane was born on September 18, 1941, to the late Louis and Gertrude Cooper in Carnegie, PA. She graduated from Allegheny College and pursued a lifelong career in education as an elementary school teacher. For 30+ years, she worked in the Bethel Park School District where she was much beloved by her students and fellow teachers.

Like her late father, Jane found joy in gardening and art and was known for her skill in watercolor painting. Jane loved to bake and her Christmas cookie tin was a much anticipated gift among the family. She was a long-time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon.

She is predeceased by her cherished husband Thomas Risacher, and brother Paul Cooper.

She is survived by her brother Thomas (Leah) Cooper; her nieces and nephews, Marcia Cooper, Jeffrey (Anne) Cooper, Daniel (Liz) Cooper, Maureen (Albert) Tomko, and Joseph (Wendi) Risacher; and many other great and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME. A service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, at 10 a.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1066 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228. Interment will immediately follow at Chartiers Cemetery.
