WOZAR

JANET ANN (WEINHOLD)

Age 80, of Pittsburgh, PA, died on September 22, 2025, after a long illness. She was born, in Pittsburgh, on January 16, 1945, to George M. and Jane Weinhold (née Mann). Jan was a proud graduate of Munhall High School, received her BA in Social Work from West Liberty State College, and her MSW from West Virginia University.

Jan was a licensed clinical social worker for 25 years, working in various long-term care facilities and hospitals, most notably UPMC Presbyterian emergency department. As a lifelong reader, in lieu of flowers, Jan requested that donations be made in her name to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.

Jan is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas "Wo" Wozar; her daughters, Tracy Gallucci (Michael) of Dana Point, CA, Jody Wozar Larkin; her granddaughter, Lillian Larkin both of Ross Township; and her sister, Joyce Payne (John) of West Barnstable, MA.

Memorial Services will be held privately.
