JANET LOUISE (NÉE LOTZ)

With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Janet Louise DeLuca (née Lotz). She left this world on May 1, 2026, in Bethel Park, PA, at the age of 90.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick (Fred) Victor DeLuca; and leaves behind her loving children, Lisa Ascencio, Damon (Cindy) DeLuca, Linda (Frank Snyder) DeLuca; her grandchildren, Steve (Sarah) Ascencio, Jarret (Rachel) DeLuca, Jeff (Allison) DeLuca, and Jon (Gabi) DeLuca; and four great-grandchildren; and many loving friends and neighbors.

How do you capture someone whose life was, in many ways, the connective tissue of a family?

Mom's life was her greatest recipe; made with creativity, resourcefulness, love, and a generous heart. No matter what she had, she found a way to make something beautiful and special, always making sure there was enough to share. There was always a place at her table, and she made sure everyone who gathered there felt at home. We will miss her so very much.

You are the freshness of spring flowers reaching upward, looking to the warmth of the sun.

You are the welcome summer breeze, bringing relief from a long, hot summer day.

You are the beauty of autumn, showing your vibrance the way only you can.
