With hearts full of love and gratitude for her life, we share the passing of Janet M. Binder, of McCandless Township, Pennsylvania, who left this world peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 86.

Janet was the beloved daughter of the late Denis and Katharine Finigan and the cherished sister of the late Thomas Finigan. She is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Felix J. Binder, with whom she shared a deep and beautiful bond. Their love, friendship, and unwavering partnership were an inspiration to all who knew them.

Janet was a loving and proud mother to her four children, Susan Ramalho (Dave O'Connor), Christopher Smith, Karen Fink (John Fink), and Mark Binder, each of whom she adored beyond measure. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was affectionately known as "Grandma", "Great-Grandma" and "Grammyma" to Nicole Ramalho Morgan, Zane Gillfillan, John Fink IV, Matthew Fink, and Cristina James, and great-grandmother to Haven, Spencer, Theo, Dylan, Evan, and Olivia.

She treasured every moment spent with her family -- whether it was a quiet visit, a shared laugh, or simply being surrounded by those she loved. Janet's family was truly the center of her world, and her heart overflowed with love for her many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and dear friends.

Janet will be remembered for her strong faith, her gentle spirit, and her endless capacity to love and care for others. Her life reflected the words of Revelation 21:4 -- a verse that brought her great comfort and peace.

Her warmth, kindness, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A private family service will be held, with a celebration of Janet's life to be planned at a later date.
